Revisiting Ted Hughes’s Poetry in Place with Yoga

The Elmet Trust cordially invites you to join us for a morning of nature, poetry, walking, yoga and meditation in Mytholmroyd, the birthplace of Ted Hughes.

Itinerary for the day …

9.30am – 10am Welcome and meet and greet at Mytholmroyd Community and Leisure Centre.

10am – 11.30am Set off for our nature and poetry inspired walk led by Ruth Crossley, Ted Hughes Academic and Elmet Trust Trustee.

11.30am – 12.30pm Back to the community centre for an inspiring yoga and meditation session, led by Emma Conally-Barklem, Yorkshire based yoga teacher, poet, author and Ted Hughes poetry enthusiast.

What to bring: Ideally participants should bring along their own yoga mats and anything they need for a relaxing yoga/meditation session. Please wear clothes suitable for a nature walk and yoga. Some refreshments will be provided on the day but please bring along your own refillable water bottles, and any refreshments for the walk itself.

Lunch is not included but participants are encouraged to bond and then possibly go for lunch together in Mytholmroyd or bring packed lunches along with them on the day.
